Sylvania Business Expo draws thousands

SYLVANIA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

160 Sylvania area businesses took part in the Sylvania Business Expo Saturday afternoon. The event took place at Tam-o-Shanter.

Thousands of visitors browsed the different companies from almost every range of business.

They found out what Sylvania businesses have to offer and even got free estimates for services.

Promoters of the Expo say business in Sylvania and Sylvania Township is on the rise.

"It's blossoming, it's getting there, it's getting better. Some new businesses to the downtown street, and some new businesses to the township as well," said Laura Glover of the Sylvania Chamber of Commerce.

Early estimates put attendance at the event at over 4,000.
