Judd says mom can't wait to turn her garage into campaign HQ

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Actress and possible senate candidate Ashley Judd was a little less coy about her possible new career in politics when she visited Cincinnati today.

Judd was the keynote speaker at the American Counseling Association's 2013 conference at the Duke Energy Center.

The actress spoke about her personal experience seeking treatment in 2006 for a childhood issue that lead to depression as an adult.

In her speech, Judd made reference to Mitch McConnell's campaign budget by stating that when she started in counseling she didn't like to be criticized 'which is ironic because she's about the get $40 million worth of it.'

She also talked about how supportive her family is being and that her mom, country legend Naomi Judd can't wait to turn her garage into a campaign headquarters.

Judd is rumored to be considering a run for senate in Kentucky.
