ROCKCAVE, WEST VIRGINIA (Toledo News Now) -
The Amber Alert for infant Grace Hope Tenney and Shaina Nicole Tenney, 16, have been canceled.
The teen mother and 7-month-old were found Wednesday morning on Interstate 79 south at mile marker 104 in Lewis County, according to WOWK, a CBS affiliate in West Virginia.
Police in West Virginia issued an Amber Alert for the two Tuesday night, saying they were believed to be in "extreme danger." They were reportedly abducted by a family member, Margel Tenney, from a home in Rock Cave, Upshur County, West Virginia.
They were originally traveling in a 1999 Dodge Dually extended cab, red in color with unknown registration. However, police believe they switched into a tan 2003 Ford Taurus four door with West Virginia license plate 2LW179.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, they may have been seen crossing into Ohio around 9 p.m. Tuesday on I-77 in Washington County.
Margel Tenney is now in custody and is being transported to the State Police Weston Detachment.
