TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Whether it's chicken or Chinese for dinner, there are a couple Toledo restaurants attracting some unwanted attention for having too many health violations.

Church's Chicken along Franklin Avenue in central Toledo is no stranger to the Restaurant Ratings Report, especially when 12 violations are working against it. Violations this time include a broken hot water faucet, a leaking sink, water dripping from a light onto food, and no paper towels or soap at a sink. Inspectors also found missing and cracked floor tiles, a large amount of rust on shelves and boxes of chicken being stored on wooden pallets, which can lead to a buildup of bacteria.

Three violations for King Garden on Monroe Street in central Toledo include chicken, fish, cut peppers and mushrooms found stored in a sink, no paper towels available at a sink, and raw chicken sitting above lettuce in a cooler, which can lead to cross-contamination.

Rudy's Hot Dog located along Sylvania Avenue in west Toledo earned another perfect inspection with zero violations. Inspectors say it's very clean and in good working condition.

Inspectors issued six violations at Robert's Food and Spirits on North Detroit Avenue in central Toledo. Raw shrimp needs to be put below corn bread in a cooler to avoid cross-contamination and possibly a foodborne illness. Chicken had to be tossed out because it was sharing sink space with dirty dishes, and inspectors reminded the owner not to bring food from home to serve.

Eight violations were issued for the City Diner on Monroe Street in west Toledo. Inspectors found a container of dressing in the ice machine, damaged floor tiles and a general cleaning needed along the entire cook line.

Sidelines Wings 'N Things on Mellwood Avenue in west Toledo is in great standing with county health inspectors with no violations to report.
