Woman extracted from car after wreck on SR 613

HANCOCK COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A woman had to be extracted from her car following a Friday night crash on State Route 613, according to the Hancock County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say in Portage Township, around 10:30 p.m., a 2002 Nissan Maxima travelling westbound crossed the center lane of the road, striking a 1991 Honda Accord.

Joshua M. Cain, 24, of Leipsic, Ohio,  was driving the Nissan.

The McComb Fire Department used mechanical means to extract the driver of the Honda, 41-year-old Zoila Martinez De Hernandez, of Bowling Green, from her car.

Martinez De Hernandez, along with her passenger, 58-year-old Gladys Rodriguez, were transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by EMS.

Cain was also transported to the hospital. He was cited for driving left of the center.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
