SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A local church is stepping up to help a Springfield Township family who lost nearly everything in a devastating fire Tuesday night.

The Westgate Chapel actually received so many clothing donations during their donation drive that not only does the Deradet family have enough clothing for all 10 family members, but they have enough to donate to another organization.

The life pastor said being able to help the family has meant a lot to the church.

"Anytime you do good things for people, it feels good," Pastor Glenn Lewis said. "And this is a great family…I mean, if you knew the family, you'd be doing the same thing."

The Air National Guard has also stepped in and has every meal figured out for the family for the next month.

To help the family, you can visit this Facebook page, or the Westgate Chapel's website.
