2 students face charges after fight at Scott High

Two students, one from Waite and the other from Scott, are facing charges after a fight at the Scott and Rogers basketball game Friday night.

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Two students, one from Waite and the other from Scott, are facing charges after a fight at the Scott and Rogers basketball game Friday night.

That's according to Toledo Public Schools security.

The pair will also face disciplinary action at school which could range from a few days suspension to expulsion.

Officials reported that two girls started fighting at a basketball game Friday night at Scott High School in Toledo's Old West End.

Another source at the scene reported that after the two girls began fighting, "all hell broke loose." The game was forced to be suspended with only two minutes to go.

Sheriff's deputies and local police arrived at the scene and used mace to break up the fight. Dozens of people were maced, including a basketball player who had gone into the stands to see a family member.

The game was forced to be suspended with only two minutes to go, and players were escorted into the locker rooms as soon as possible.

The two girls were arrested.

No serious injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
