Cleveland Police have released new information about the vehicle in a deadly hit and run Wednesday.

Police say the vehicle that hit and killed 81-year-old Maxine Lobins was a dark-colored, full size SUV, not a van.

The preliminary investigation reveals Lobins was walking with a walker in the 17000 block of Lorain Avenue and was attempting to cross in the crosswalk when she was hit.

The driver did not stop.

The detectives are working on obtaining surveillance video from area businesses.
