Cincy casino looking to hire 400 more

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Area job seekers are reminded that Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati is still seeking applicants for several culinary, finance, marketing and  guest service roles. 

More than 30 job descriptions are currently posted on the casino's website.

Since Nov. 1, the casino has received just over 1,200 applications for about 400 positions. 

Recruiters are specifically seeking fine-dining and culinary leaders to oversee the property's new high-end steakhouse as well as its 33,000 sq. ft. meeting and event space. 

Candidates with restaurant management, host and banquet experience are encouraged to apply.

    The Toledo Area Sanitary District on Thursday said West Nile Virus activity in the mosquito population is appearing in our area in an "unusual" amount this early in the season. In response, the district is adjusting its focus to combat the sources of the mosquitoes that carry the virus.
