Tim Hortons to celebrate 750 restaurants with $.75 coffee promotion

DUBLIN, OH (Toledo News Now) - In celebration of operating 750 U.S. restaurants, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will offer guests its small Always Fresh premium blend coffee for just $.75 all day on Oct. 30.

The coffee promotion is the chain's way of honoring its guests' continuous support and the important milestone.

"Our success and growth in the U.S. is directly related to the loyal guests who visit us every day," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president of Tim Hortons. "Offering our Always Fresh premium blend coffee at just $.75 is a fun play on our number of locations, but most importantly, it's a ‘Thank You' to our guests for their patronage."

Tim Hortons celebrated its latest restaurant openings this week in Detroit, Buffalo and Toledo.

The company was recently recognized by Zagat as one of the top U.S. restaurant chains for decor and service. It was recently named for 2011, the fourth fastest-growing chain by the Technomic 2012 report.

Tim Hortons launched in 1985 in Buffalo, NY and has experienced steady growth over the past 27 years. There are 4,071 restaurants systemwide.
