Findlay Police seek suspect who exposed himself to middle schoolers

FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - Findlay Police are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself to two middle school students Wednesday morning.

Around 7 a.m. Wednesday, an unknown white male wearing a black ski mask and a heavier, dark-colored coat approached two young students walking separate paths to Central Middle School. The first encounter happened in the 200 block of South Cory Street. The second occurred in the 500 block of West Front Street.

The male exposed his genitals and asked them to touch him. He then fled on foot from both locations and could not be found.

A passerby drove by shortly after and noticed something was wrong, staying with one of the girls until help came. The other girl ran to school.

The girls were unharmed.

The subject is described as standing between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a small to medium build.

Findlay Police say the situation could have ended much differently, but hope the incident is the beginning of a more alert community.

Police are still investigating. Anyone with more information can contact the Findlay Police Department at 419-424-7163 or CrimeStoppers at 419-425-8477.
