Findlay’s annual Halloween parade taking place Tuesday

FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) - The annual Findlay Halloween parade is Tuesday and officials say this year could be a record turnout.

Last year 10,000 people lined the downtown streets and this year is predicted to be even bigger because of the warmer weather.

Up to 15,000 people are predicted to be standing on the street in costume. The parade will start on Lincoln Street and end on West Main Cross.

There will be contests, music and many costumes. Parade organizers said they have already received 150 entries for floats. Officials got a sneak peak at a possible float winner.

"It's a pirate ship that has cannons on it and it shoots confetti so people bring it people go big so I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with," said 2012 parade chairman Brian Treece.

The parade starts at 7p.m. Click here to view the parade route.
