WAPAKONETA, OH (Toledo News Now) – Two men and one woman are facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized marijuana-laced lollipops and cookies, crack cocaine and prescription pills, worth an estimated $8,000, following a traffic stop in Auglaize County.

Troopers stopped a rented 2012 Nissan Murano with GA registration for a speed violation on Interstate 75 southbound near milepost 114 at 11:11 p.m. Sunday. While speaking with the driver, troopers detected an odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A probable cause search revealed marijuana-laced lollipops and cookies, 29 grams of crack cocaine, a variety of prescription pills and marijuana in the vehicle.

Driver Kenneth James II, 30, of Westland, MI, and passengers Ricky Hickman, 32, of Chattanooga, TN, and Celsi Parks, 18, of Ypsilanti, MI, were charged with trafficking in cocaine, a first-degree felony, and trafficking in marijuana, a fourth-degree felony.

All three suspects were incarcerated in the Auglaize County Jail. If convicted, each could face up to 11 years in prison and up to a $25,000 fine.
