Woman indicted for murder of Sylvania Twp. man

SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) - A woman has been indicted for the murder of a Sylvania Township man back in July 2011.

Melody L. Williams was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury for the murder of L.C. Lyons Jr. on July 4, 2011 at a house in the 5100 block of Inland Drive in Sylvania Township.

Williams was arrested and taken into custody on charges of aggravated murder and aggravated robbery after the issuance of the indictment. 

She was taken to the Lucas County Jail. 

According to the police report, on July 4, 2011, the Sylvania Township Fire Department was dispatched to Lyons' home for a fire. Upon arrival, firefighters observed it was a working fire and requested police. After forcing entry and searching the house, firefighters located a body inside.
