Deep in the woodlands of north central Ohio, the stage is set. The home of Johnny Appleseed Outdoor Historical Drama rises from the earth, almost as if it were part of this lush landscape. With song, dance and dialogue you'll long remember, Johnny Appleseed is a gripping tale of pioneer America's man of legend. The folklore you'll fondly recall is now an unforgettable experience that's ideal for all generations to share.
Set in the early 1800s and leading up to the war of 1812, this inspiring story is based on true accounts of John "Appleseed" Chapman's experiences in north central Ohio.
Chapman's compassionate rapport with area's pioneer families and Delaware Indian tribes provides the underpinning for this unforgettable story. Yet, he finds himself caught in the midst of growing conflict and tension as the British threaten the security of the area at the start of the war of 1812. From this setting, action and adventure grow, building into show that's thrilling, yet still suitable for the entire family.
