Woman accused of using anti-freeze to kill boyfriend pleads not guilty

The mother accused of poisoning her fiancee was in court Monday morning.

Holly McFeeture pleaded not guilty during her arraignment. Her bond was set at half a million dollars.

Between July 26, 2006 and July 30, 2006, McFeeture allegedly poisoned Matthew Podolak with ethylene glycol at their home on Archmere Avenue in Cleveland.

The couple lived with their two children, ages two and six months, and an eight-year-old child from McFeeture's previous relationship.

McFeeture allegedly added anti-freeze to Podolak's raspberry tea, which he drank daily.

On July 30, Podolak started experiencing lower back pain and went to the doctor, where he was treated for kidney stones.

The next morning, Podolak was in the ER with vomiting, extreme pain and was disoriented. He died later that day.

His death was ruled a homicide after additional evidence was obtained by Cleveland Police.

McFeeture was arrested in July 26, 2012.
