Paulding County man dies in Defiance County crash

SHERWOOD, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Ohio State Troopers confirm 44-year-old Jeffrey Barnwell of Cecil, OH was killed in a rollover crash on Sunday.

He was driving on Jerico Road near Behnfeldt Road in Defiance County's Sherwood on Sunday morning when he crashed. The SUV went off the side of the road, hit a mailbox and driveway, and then rolled over. Barnwell was thrown from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say he was not wearing a seat belt.
