PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) - It's been a week since 21 year old Leandra Frankum was murdered at a house in the Heights section of Perrysburg Township.

Saturday night, family, friends and neighbors wanted to make sure she was not forgotten by holding a fundraiser in her memory.

A taco dinner was held and raffles tickets sold.

It was a bittersweet evening.

People had a good time but didn't forget why they came.

Money will go to pay for Leandra's funeral.

"She was a beautiful young girl. Her life was taken away way too short, way too soon," said Nancy Garcia.

"And it meant a lot for us to support her family as well," said Betty Montoya.

Leandra was killed last Sunday morning.

Charged with her murder is estranged boyfriend Jose Moya.

The two are parents of an infant girl.

Moya's brother Raul is charged with obstructing justice in connection with the case.

The family of Leandra is relieved the two brothers are behind bars.

"I think they were out here hiding. We kept telling the cops that. They had nowhere to go," said Nanette Oviedo, Leandra's aunt.

Many at the fundraiser wore T-shirts with a picture of Leandra.

They'll attend her funeral Tuesday in Perrysburg.

"She was a really loving person, really friendly. She had a good heart," said Ms. Garcia.

And now remembered by other t-shirts that read "Our Angel."
