TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - A major west Toledo intersection will be closed starting Monday. It is not expected to reopen until the beginning of July.
In conjunction with the Sylvania Avenue Reconstruction Project, and to allow the contractor to reconstruct the intersection, the entire intersection of Jackman, Sylvania and Tremainsville will be closed starting at 5 a.m. on Monday, June 18.
Detours will be established through Douglas Road to Laskey Road to Lewis Avenue and also through Upton Avenue to Berdan Avenue to Willys Parkway.
The three ton load limit on Berdan Avenue and Willys Parkway along the detour route will be temporarily rescinded during the time limits of this closure.
It is expected that Jackman, Sylvania and Tremainsville will be reopened to traffic on or around July 9.
