Woman accused of child endangerment skips court date

Erin Taylor was arrested a few months ago after her 5-month-old was brought to the hospital for reported seizures. Doctors found a cracked skull and severe bleeding instead.

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) - Erin Taylor was arrested a few months ago after her 5-month-old was brought to the hospital for reported seizures. Doctors found a cracked skull and severe bleeding instead.

Taylor was indicted shortly after, and charged with child endangerment. On Monday, the judge and prosecutor waited for Taylor to arrive at the Wood County courthouse, but she never did.

Taylor's attorney was there on her behalf, and says she couldn't go to court today because she was in the hospital. There are currently no reports giving a reason why she was in the hospital, but Taylor was expected to be discharged Monday.

The judge did make some changes to her situation. Taylor is now allowed to have contact with her boyfriend, since he is not considered a suspect.

The hearing has been rescheduled for late August. Toledo News Now will keep you updated on this developing story.
