MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) - A Holland woman who drove the wrong way in an area expressway faces jail time, fines and a long license suspension for her crime.
Lydia Jablonski was sentenced Friday morning in a Maumee court.
Back in March, Jablonski drove drunk the wrong way from a Perrysburg bar to the Maumee exit on U.S. Route 23/Interstate 475. Along the way, she clipped mirrors with a car traveling in the correct lane and was stopped by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Jablonski will lose her license for three years, serve three days at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, 24 days of home monitoring, and another 150 days of jail time. Jablonski must pay $1,200 in fines, attend Alcoholics Anonymous sessions, plus stay drug and alcohol free for the three years of her probation.
The court also ordered periodic drug and alcohol testing.
