Leukemia patient gets his own man cave

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - It's something every guy wishes for, and today in Whitehouse, a boy diagnosed with leukemia got one, a man cave.

Jarred Wise told the Make-A-Wish Foundation that he wanted an Ohio State themed man cave in his parents' basement.

Broyhill Furniture and The Appliance Center surprised Jarred this afternoon by finishing and furnishing the entire downstairs.

A big screen TV, Ohio State memorabilia and leather furniture now all belong to the family.

Jarred chose a finished basement so others could enjoy the gift too.

"He could have gone for something more personalized, or something that wouldn't have lasted long like a trip. But he said this basement is going to be here forever, and it can be shared with us and our extended family and friends." said Lee Wise, Jarred's Mother

Jarred also wants to open his new man cave to visiting "Make-A-Wish" kids traveling through the are on their way to local hospitals.
