Former Sylvania mayor dies in boating crash

SYLVANIA, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Former Sylvania Mayor James Seney died Saturday in a boating crash.

His family tells The Blade that the 71-year old was fishing in Canadian waters when the boat crashed into a rock wall.

Seney and his former Ottawa Hills classmate, Robert Foster, died instantly.

Funeral arrangements are still being made.
