TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - A vigil is scheduled Wednesday to honor two local women whose lives were cut short by violence.
People will gather to remember Leslie Sexton Waingrow and Jazmon Hoskins. Police say Waingrow's husband, Todd Waingrow, killed her then himself earlier this month.
Hoskins is also the victim of apparent domestic violence. Toledo police say her boyfriend, Thomas Ellison Junior, strangled her to death last week.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Violence Against Women Memorial Rock outside the Sanger Branch Library on Central Avenue.
