Elderly man missing from BG has been located

UPDATE: Bowling Green police say David Shope was located. Bowling Green police say he was found with the assistance of the Wood County Sheriff's Office at approximately 4:30 a.m. He still riding his bicycle in the vicinity of Silverwood Road and U.S. Route 6. Shope was medically screened and released to family members.

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Press Release) - Bowling Green PD seeks your help in locating a missing "at risk" person.

David E. Shope, 86, Male, White, 5'9", 170 lbs, wearing glasses, khaki pants, short sleeved yellow button up shirt, and brown lace style shoes and personal metal ID bracelet, and riding a green men's Huffy bicycle.

He was last seen in the 200 block of State Street at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Shope was last seen by family members as he left their residence in the 200 block of State St. riding his bicycle to his residence in the 200 block of Baldwin Ave. He failed to return to his residence as expected.
