Final Cut Steak & Seafood
The 130-seat restaurant allows guests to dine among elegant glass display cases filled with gowns, tuxedos and accessories worn by stars of Hollywood past. The restaurant goes beyond the traditional steakhouse menu to offer a large, balanced menu with classically-driven specialty dishes, specially prepared prime cuts of beef, homemade pastas, seafood and shellfish, plus unmatched tableside service. All prime steaks are dry-aged by 28 days. "Our specialty steak in there is a 28 ounce, bone in, USDA prime ribeye. We cook it over hickory and we finish it over our montague at 1200 degrees," said Executive Chef Brian Hine. This upscale option is where you will find the casino's most extensive wine and cocktail list, along with a view of the Maumee River. Entrées costs $20 to $65. "We're really trying to be a market leader. We're really trying to take dining in Toledo and really push that," said Marc Guastella, director of food and beverage. Scene is Hollywood's 173-seat modern sports grill located in the center of the casino floor. It features more than 40 pre-prohibition-style, handcrafted cocktails and 32 beers on tap including several local brewery favorites. The menu focuses on fresh and homemade meals, featuring generous burgers, entrée specialties and an array of comfort foods. Giant flat screen video panels project the latest sports action. "A high-energy, fast-paced, exciting venue," said Guastella. Executive Chef's Favorite: Smokehouse Burger. "We smoke some of our own brisket and we slice it really thin and put it on top of our steak burger patty," said Hine. It also has french fried onions and Cajun mayo. Expect to spend $10 to $30 for an entrée. At night, Scene transforms into a club-like atmosphere as the adjacent H Lounge features live music seven days a week including jazz trios, acoustic sets, plus rock, blues and country bands playing on weekends.
Take 2 Grill
Looking for something quick? Try the Take 2 Grill. This 24-hour dining option provides 40 seats for grab-and-go service, featuring specialty coffee drinks made with Cadillac coffee, plus homemade scones, sticky buns, pastries and more. "Even in the small hours of the morning when the other restaurants are closed, they still have a great dining destination," said Guastella. Executive Chef's Favorite: Ultimate Beef Philly. "It's huge, and it's topped with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. And it's ooey-gooey with cheese," said Executive Chef Brian Hine. A dish here will cost you under $10.
Epic Buffet
Whatever you are craving, chances are you will find it at Epic Buffet. The casino's 260-seat buffet is unmatched by ordinary buffet fare, taking on freshly made-to-order attributes of a menu restaurant with the variety offered by traditional buffet dining. Five featured stations include carving/rotisserie, homemade pizza and Italian, Asian, continental and American. Joining these are offerings of various soups, salads and sweets. "It's the selection, and the unbelievable warm service that you're going to have. Just really anything you would like, it's at Epic Buffet," said Guastella. Executive Chef's Favorite: Hand-rolled sushi made fresh when you ask for it. Lunch will cost $16. Dinner will cost $22. A private dining room can be rented for receptions and community events.
