SANDUSKY, OH (Toledo News Now) – Under the shadow of the millennium force, park goers can travel back in time to see dinosaurs, life-size and in person.
Dinosaurs Alive opened this summer sitting on the new adventure island on the northern tip of the park. It's an addition some didn't expect to find at a roller coaster destination.
"I think it's awesome because, we bring the kids here for math and science and they want to play but, I told them they had to visit this because this is actual, it makes it more real to them," science teacher Connie Lott explained.
It's also a nice break from the thrill rides, and a hit for the kids as well
The best part of the exhibit, is its proximity to northwest Ohio.
"When they can come in and see something like this, and not have to go to the Cleveland museum of natural history or something like, and actually see them moving. That's just a great thing," said Lott.
The exhibit is expected to be on display for the next 7 years.
