TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Toledo Police and the Lucas County Sheriff say outdoor warning sirens malfunctioned in south Toledo Wednesday around 8 p.m.
An outdoor warning siren near Airport Highway and Byrne went off Wednesday night by accident.
People in parts of south Toledo had to listen to the sirens for about an hour and a half before they stopped.
There is still no answer as to why the sirens went off. There was no emergency but crews worked to fix the problem.
