Lenawee Co. Sheriff's Dept. investigating 6 Adrian, MI break-ins

ADRIAN, MI (Toledo News Now) - CrimeStoppers of Lenawee County is asking for the public's help with information about at least six cases of breaking and entering. The buildings are located within a five-mile-radius in Adrian, Mich.

Investigators believe that all six of the break-ins may be related. In each of the cases, the buildings had been forcibly entered and power tools and lawn equipment were stolen.

The first break-in occurred April 15 in the 3000 block of Sharp Road; the second break-in occurred April 18 in the 6200 block of Treat Highway; the third break-in occurred April 27 in the 4800 block of Ogden Highway; and the fourth break-in occurred April 28 in the 1000 block of Packard Road.  The last two break-ins occurred April 29 in the 1900 and 2600 block of Townline Highway.

Investigators are looking into other break-ins that may also be related to these six break-ins.

At this point, investigators know that at least two people are involved in the break-ins and thefts. Most of the break-ins happened after midnight and were discovered in the morning by homeowners.
