Hollywood Casino Toledo comparable to Cleveland’s Horseshoe

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - With Horseshoe Casino Cleveland opening its doors on Monday, grand opening for Hollywood Casino Toledo is just a few weeks away, set for May 29 at 2 p.m.

The total price tag to convert the historic Higbee Building in Cleveland is coming in at roughly $350 million, while the Toledo complex along the Maumee Riverfront will cost an estimated $250 million. When it comes to gaming options, the two casinos are comparable.

Horseshoe Cleveland: 2,100 slots, 65 table games, 30-table poker room. Hollywood Toledo: 2,002 slots, 60 table games, 20-table poker room. Both casinos are also offering a variety of dining options.

Horseshoe Cleveland: a buffet, a 3-outlet food court and 2 bars. Hollywood Toledo: a steak house, a buffet, a grill-style restaurant, a sports bar and the H-Lounge with live entertainment.

Parking prices will vary at Horseshoe Cleveland, for valet and self-park off site, with free parking for club members who show 30 minutes of tracked play. Hollywood Toledo will offer free parking, with 3,500 spaces on site.
