TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Toledo Correction Institution on Central Avenue in N. Toledo is on lock down because of a series of threatening phone calls.
A spokesperson for the prison says the facility received four threatening calls between Monday night and Tuesday afternoon.
It is unclear exactly what threats were made, but all four claimed there would be some sort of destructive event at the prison.
Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting a search at the prison. All prisoners have been accounted for and are locked in their cells.
