Sweet and Sour Sautéed Radishes

  • 3 cps red radishes tops and stems removed and cut in half
  • 2 Tbls butter
  • 3 Tbls sugar
  • 3 Tbls white balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Place radishes in water to just cover. Bring to a boil then lower to simmer and cook till just tender about 5 minutes. Drain.

Melt butter in a skillet and add radishes and cook till lightly browned about 5 minutes

Sprinkle with sugar and vinegar and cook till glazed

Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately
