TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) – The owners of Admiral's American Grill, located at The Docks in east Toledo, say Dashing Pacific is not holding up their end of the restaurant's lease agreement.
At a news conference Wednesday morning, the owners complained that the building has combined electric, water and sewer meters. This makes it impossible to accurately split utility bills between the businesses operating there, and owners say they lose electricity and water when other parts of the building are shut down.
"What we're looking for is nothing more than what we were promised day one when we signed our lease, and that is installing separate meters for all utilities inside the lease premises," said Michael McKarus, owner of Docks Venture and Ohio LLC., which operates Admiral's.
Representatives of Dashing Pacific say they have not been served with a lawsuit and have no comment on the matter.
