I went to the Detroit Auto Show on Saturday morning. For the first time in a couple of years, the show is teeming with innovation and optimism.
The crowd was upbeat and most of the people I spoke to were having a good time. People were truly interested in purchasing a new car, which is a great thing to hear.
The manufacturers seem to have found their stride. The cars are cool, but they also address modern concerns with functionality and practicality. It was a fun day.
If you get a chance to visit Detroit it is worth the trip. If not, then plan on seeing the cars when the auto show comes to Toledo in a few weeks. I think you will be impressed.
