OTTAWA COUNTY, OH (WTOL) - A small fire was reported at Davis Besse nuclear plant early Wednesday.
First Energy says there was a small water leak on an electrical panel that caused a small fire. It was extinguished by Davis Besse's own fire crews at the plant.
They say there was no impact to public health or safety.
The Carroll Township Fire Department was called out for backup just before 3 a.m., but their services were not used.
