1 tablespoon butter or margerine
1/2 cup chopped onion.
1 cup chopped Ohio Jonagold or Law Rome apples.
1/2 cup chopped celery
3 cups cooked long grain rice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup water
6 boneless pork tenderloin chops
In a large skillet, melt butter and saute onions, apples, and celery. Stir in rice, brown sugar, allspice, raisins, almonds, and water. Heat completely. Grill or broil pork chops until internal thermometer reads 155 to 160 degrees F. Place chops on platter and serve with rice.
