WTOL Editorial: Best of the class

Each of these graduating high school seniors behind me is a Valedictorian.

They are here today, at The Imagination Station, to be recognized in the WTOL 11 and the Ohio Lottery Best of the Class program.

Each year, the top student in his or her high school gets to share in this special recognition.

They pose for photos with Jerry Anderson and Chrys Peterson. They star in a short video with other valedictorians. They also get to pose in some fun photos.

All of this is posted on WTOL.com for family and friends to enjoy. There's a pizza lunch and fun couple of hours at The Imagination Station.

These are exceptional kids. To be the best requires extreme dedication and focus.

Given all of the distractions in our electronic world, keeping focus on a goal must be a pretty tough thing.

Congratulations valedictorians. You have earned it.
