WTOL Editorial: Governor Kasich is consistent and self assured

Ohio Governor John Kasich was in town this week and he spent about an hour at WTOL 11.

Even if you do not agree with his politics or his policies, you have to admit; he does what he says he will do. That makes him a rare politician.

When he ran for governor he said he would cut expenses, address the issues of pay and benefits for state employees, balance the budget without raising taxes and make Ohio a great place to do business.

So far, his policies are directed to do just that.  And he doesn't seem overly concerned with his favorability rating in the polls.

He believes he is right and that Ohio will be great again if we fix the things that have been screwed up for decades.

If you want see Governor Kasich in a spirited give-and-take with anchor Jerry Anderson, watch The Leading Edge this Sunday at 11a.m on WTOL 11.

It is a fast-paced half-hour so you better hang onto your seats.
