Fall back -- change your clocks this weekend

People in most of the U.S. need to set their clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Many people choose to set the clocks on Saturday night before they go to bed.

Also, many people use the schedule of daylight savings time to change the batteries in smoke detectors twice a year.

Not everyone in the U.S. makes the switch from standard time. The exceptions are Hawaii, most of Arizona, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Marianas.

Just for fun, here is a link to a world sunlight map that shows you where on earth daylight is currently shining.
