GENOA, OH (WTOL) - Eunice Brillhart is just like the rest of Facebook's 500 million users. She logs on to her page almost everyday, responds to friend requests and comments on pictures.

What sets her apart is her age.

On Friday, Eunice turned 105 years old, an accomplishment she never thought she'd reach.

"Some people just give up when they get older. Sit and sleep and don't do things. I try to keep busy, I read, watch TV some," said Eunice.

Her granddaughter set her up with Facebook a few months ago. Eunice has mastered the website.

"Its nice because I see people that I haven't seen for years, that I don't see often," Eunice said.

Eunice has pictures of herself on her page and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren comment on the photos in appreciation. On her birthday, she was flooded with well-wishes.

"Today I clicked, and I had 32 emails," said Eunice.

For a woman who did not even have radio as a child, Eunice says Facebook is quite the invention.

However, she says the biggest changes she has witnessed in her lifetime include television and cars.

"We didn't have a car for a long time. We had horses... I can remember what used to frighten me would be runaway horses. They would get loose, and runaway. As a child, I would be scared," Eunice said.

Eunice calls Oregon, Ohio home. She was married and had two children. She has grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She now lives in a retirement village and says the secret to her longevity is staying active. In fact, she prides herself on her Wii bowling skills.

Eunice has a close-knit group of 23 Facebook friends. It is tough to make Eunice's friend-list. At 105, she says she isn't afraid to reject a friend request if she doesn't know the person.
