The Wound Healing Center is staffed with a unique team of doctors, nurses and therapists, all dedicated to healing chronic wounds, the underlying causes of which include diabetes, circulatory disease, radiation burns and skin grafts.
Todd Tamlyn, MD, General Surgeon, is Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center. Other physicians who see patients at the center are: D. Wayne, Bell, MD, Family Practice; Innocent Ubunama, DO, Vascular Surgeon; Richard Walsh, MD, Family Practice; and David Witt, DPM, Podiatrist. These physicians all have undergone specialized training in wound healing. They are experts in treating diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers and various other wounds.
The causes of open sores are complex and our group represents expertise in all of the major areas necessary to handle their carried circumstances and challenges. It could be as simple as changing a medication, or more complex. Whatever it takes for healing to occur, we're equipped and staffed to make it happen.
