Group aims to preserve Libbey High as a community center

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A local group that wants to preserve the Libbey High School building has a meeting scheduled at the south branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library Monday at 6:30 p.m.

The group, which is headed-up by the Toledo Board of Community Relations, is trying to raise money to keep the school's skill center, field house, football field and baseball diamond.

Folks want to use the buildings as a community center and maybe as the home of youth athletic leagues.
