WTOL Editorial: Hometown for the Holidays newscasts return

By WTOL Vice President and General Manager Bob Chirdon - email

WTOL 11 continues the holiday tradition we started last year of taking our entire news team on the road when we head to Genoa next Tuesday.

We will broadcast special editions of WTOL 11 News at 5 and 6 LIVE we call Hometown for the Holidays.

Over the next 4 weeks we will also stop in Wauseon, Waterville and Perrysburg.

It's great fun and if it is  anything like last year's events, just about the whole town will turn out.

Everyone at WTOL 11 looks forward to spending this special time with folks in each town. Please come out and say hello.

Additionally, if you are able to bring some can goods, please do so. Charlie's Dodge is collecting these to distribute to folks who are less fortunate, so you even get to brighten someone's holiday.

The recent decision of ProMedica's Board of Trustees to enter into a transfer agreement with Capital Care Network, Toledo's last remaining abortion facility, just doesn't make sense.
