Hanky Tanky Hanger: Does it Work?

(WTOL) - The new Hanky Tanker claims it performs much better than other closet organizers because there are not any swinging arms or dragging clothing to take up closet space.

"Things I've used in the past just don't work," said Stephanie Byars. "If they did, you'd see them in here now."

Byars has limited closet space and already doubles up her tanks onto one hanger, but with the Hanky Tanky Hanger, she can fit 12 in one.

"We're not even finished yet,  and I'm getting rid of all these hangers."

Byars thinks the product might be worth the money -- and she really likes the swivel.

However, she points out that when you are trying to pull one of your shirts from the middle of this hanger, try tipping it so it will make it much easier to slide off a garment.

Byars says the proeduct feels sturdy, even though it is basically made of PVC pipe you slide into place.

However, the Hanky Tanky retails for $15 plus shipping and handling. For that reason, Byars says she would not buy it, but wait until it becomes less expensive and is available in stores.

She says the the biggest advantage is it gives more space. She also says it works better than other products she has tried.

Keep in mind, you may still have some clothing hanging lower than other garments, so it may not work in closets with double racks.

The Hanky Tanky Hanger earns a good grade 'B' on this Does it Work test.  Right now, you can only buy it online at www.hankytankyhanger.com
