Recently WTOL 11 helped Lt. Colonel Brian Pummill watch his daughter's graduation from Perrysburg High School even though he is stationed in Afghanistan. Technology is a remarkable thing.

I want to share part of a letter Lt. Colonel Pummill sent to us:

"What you did for us strengthens my appreciation for the people of our country and for the people in my hometown, and strengthens my resolve to do everything I can do while I am here to ensure the success of our country's mission in Afghanistan. Once again, to everyone involved, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We have the greatest nation on earth, and it is a privilege to be an American and to serve our great nation and people. Every single soldier, marine, sailor and airman out here feels exactly the same way, Servabo fidem -- keep the faith!"

God bless you Lt. Colonel Pummill and all the men and women who serve. May he keep you safe and bring you home to the families who loves you.
