WTOL Editorial: Hey, kids, thanks for the memories

Here's some great news. Three local high school basketball teams made it to Columbus.

The Waite girls and the boys of Ottawa Hills and Port Clinton provided their fans with some inspired play.

It was a wonderful and magical ride that just made people feel good.

When the kids get older, hopefully they will remember what they won: the hearts and spirit of students and parents and an entire community.

Hopefully, they will remember the surge of optimism and pride and the joy of being on a team.

For the rest of us, it was fun to just have fun.

Congratulations, it was cool to watch.

The recent decision of ProMedica's Board of Trustees to enter into a transfer agreement with Capital Care Network, Toledo's last remaining abortion facility, just doesn't make sense.
