UPDATED--Erie County teen dies after being hit by car

PERKINS TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTOL) - An Erie County teen hit by a car while roller blading has died.

Michael Gisondi, 13, of Sandusky was rollerblading on Strub Rd. near Campbell St. in Perkins Township around 8 p.m. Monday.

Police say Deborah Lane of Castalia hit the boy. The State Highway Patrol says he may have been trying to cross the road and that he was wearing all black.

Gisondi was flown to Cleveland Metro Hospital where he died around Noon today.

    The City of Toledo is apologizing to a man after they billed him for cutting grass on public property near his home.  Anthony Davis and his wife have lived in their home in south Toledo since 1995. The grass in the cul-de-sac outside their home is often overgrown.
