BOWLING GREEN, OH (WTOL) -- Fans started swapping up copies of their re-mastered albums and the new rock band video game.

Steve Ott picked up one of the first digitally re-mastered Beatles sets at Finders Record Shop in Bowling Green.

"I think they're the greatest band ever," Ott said.

John, Paul, George and Ringo took America by storm and even bridged generations. Fans say they like the Beatles because they were different and the music just makes them feel good.

BGSU's sound recordings archivist collects all kinds of music including the Beatles.

Bill Schurk says the Beatles changed people's thoughts on clothes, hair and attitudes toward young people.

"They've never gone actually, " Shurk said. "The Beatles never really left us. It's just another log in the cabin that the Beatles have built and I mean, who's to know what is next?"

For now it's about fans like Steve Ott gobbling up the Beatles classics and adding to the already energized Beatlemania.
