Air Force Thunderbirds star in Cleveland Air Show

CLEVELAND (AP) - The skies over Cleveland will roar this weekend as the Air Force Thunderbirds performance team shows off at the Cleveland National Air Show.

The Army's Golden Knights parachute team also will perform. The show will be Saturday through Monday at Burke Lakefront Airport overlooking Lake Erie.

A newcomer to the show will be the Navy's E-6B Mercury. The airborne command post allows the White House and Pentagon to communicate with submarines, bombers and missile silos around the globe.
