TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - The Toledo Mud Hens honored a very important member of their team Thursday night in a never-before seen way.
Jake Tyler is a groundskeeper for Fifth Third field.
Thursday night, his very own bobblehead Chia Pet was unveiled.
The first 2500 fans were able to receive the bobblehead for free.
"The Mudhens are a great organization to work for and they give me all the tools that I need and all the necessary pieces of equipment that I need," says Tyler. "It's only right that they have a good field here."
Tyler's honor came after the field was named one of the best ballparks in professional baseball for its outstanding appearance.
